Day 50

Packed the camera and tripod etc, and headed over to Dundrum coastal path. Spent a hour or so there and then over to Tollymore Forest  Park in Bryansford, County Down.  Set off along the Shimma River where todays photograph was taken.

Day 49

Don’t seem like it’s been 49 days since I started my challenge. Some days can be tougher that others, what with darkness here at 4 pm and working all day. Limited time at night and also the weather to contend with makes for some quick thinking. Was wondering what to do tonight, with darkness near down and heavy rain there was my chance. A beautiful pink and purple sky and me in the fast lane on the A1. Knowing a picnic area coming up I pulled over and after standing in deep mud I got the shot. Well I hoped I did. Leave you to judge. You know a photograph always comes to you so take it when you see it. This sky lasted less that five minutes.

When I grow up…

A dark gray day here in Ireland, overcast and damp.

But these old love birds brighten my day.

Day 47

Getting out while it was still daylight today made’s for a change. With a walk in the park on my way into town I stopped off at the duck pond. Should be called a Gull pond going by numbers of duck verse gulls. With kids feeding the gulls activity was high, which helps create better photo’s. So here’s my shot for today.
