Day13
Down in Co.Kildare this evening, heavy rain showers and the light of day sinking into the darkness of night. Just has the rain eased and the sun dropped below the horizon, I pull over as Carbury Castle was just coming into view. Using a 70 – 300mm lens I grabbed a couple of photographs. So this is my Photograph for today.
Thank you for viewing.
Day 11
Not a great day for lying around a garden, the wind blowing a gale. Rain for most of the day, then out come’s a bit of late evening sun and me. I lie on a canvas cover and get a few photograph’s before the cold drives me back to the heat of the house. So here’s my pick for today.
Thank you for looking.
Day 10
A little fun tonight, saw this little wooden chicken in mum’s kitchen. Borrowed it and the egg and played around with a speedlite fitted with a small softbox. A led ring lamp set off to one side and the speedlite handheld I tried out different power setting and light placements.
So this is my photograph for today, thank you for viewing.
Day 9
Being late in and the wind blowing a mini storm out I was sitting in the kitchen having a coffee. Spotted a jar with grains and pulse’s in it. Out with the camera and extension tubes, a ring light and the result below. Nature gives us so much in pattern, texture and colour, it’s when we look closer that its shows it’s beauty.

Its the small details that make up the larger picture.

Day 7
Well number 7 done. This is Max, had him running around in the evening sun. With the sun back lighting him he was looking grand. But I made a terrible mistake and chopped his feet off in the shot. He had stopped running for a second and I shot this, took a few more while the sun was still up and only looked when processing the photographs. So a lesson learned this afternoon. Check you have the shot before packing up.
