Idle hands

A beautiful morning for a bit off gardening work. Not much time for the camera… right back to work..
Thank you for dropping by.

Stick maker

Only hunting this hatchet is doing is the making of the odd fire lighting sticks.

Bolt it.

Wonder how many times this old blot has been opened and what’s inside. It was well used and everything was in a rich green paint. Love the stories like a well thumbed book that old places project.

The road home

Mix some sunshine and rain paint onto an Irish landscape and you get a rainbow. Turned into the road home and this was the view.

Reach

A twisted old Hawthorn gets the digital art treatment for today’s photo. Could see a week dedicated to more images like this. Something to think about has a mini project with in the 365 challenge. See where it takes me.
Thank you for your time.
Lake view

Spotted this one morning on the way to work, had to wait for the right weather and light to get the shot.

Recall

Recall
An old photograph in my hand
memories from childhood days
flicker like an old silent movie.
Days spent playing in the hills
fishing with worm and hook
adventure knew no bounds
Chasing butterflies over meadow
building tree houses in the sky
watching birds soaring high
Granddad rounding up the flock
Darkie answers his every call
Crouched down low moving to and fro
Blanket of snow covers the hill
time to play enjoy the thrill
Sledging and sliding down that hill
Now an old man with tear on cheek
not from sadness for times gone
but from the happiness of life.

Closer look.

They say the eyes are the window to your soul, but I’m not so sure. I think the window to the inner person is felt more that seen.
