Frog hopper/ Spittle bug

These are common this time of year, it is often referred to has Cuckoo spit has it appears around the same time has the Cuckoo. Its produced by the froghopper nymph which lives by sucking the sap from the plant its on.

Never let your fears imprison you.

Sometime I would be talking to people and a subject will come to the fore. Fear and how it holds people back. For some it imprisons them in life from trying things out side their comfort zones. This image reminded me we should step outside the box and face our fears, has most times the fear is all in our ever self talking mind.

Damselfly

Spotted a few damselfly’s around the lough while walking, but I shot this around 8.30pm has the sun was dropping in the evening sky. I find they stay still better around this time.

This was a rain drop on the window. using a 105mm macro’s lens and a set of extension tubes this is the view through it. Always keep an open mind, and try new things.
