Satellite
This satellite stood still in space it was me that was moving past. The fly on the flower head was black and yellow striped with the flowers a white shade. With no detail in the green background I liked the flower in space idea.

Was getting dark and I saw this fly. I was looking at flowers in my mothers garden when I saw this fly sitting one one. Shot with a 105 mm lens and a handheld flash with a small soft box fitted..

Great time for fly hunting, armed with camera and a small flash I take a stroll at dusk. I find insects sit still in the cooler air.

Golden Fly
Loved the colour of this fellow here. Sitting in the evening sun I managed to get this shot before he took off. Shot with a 105mm macro’s lens hand held, I fired off a volley of shots with this being the sharpest .

Getting a tan
Got this one sunning it’s self on a cherry tree, Took this hand held with the help of a branch to steady the camera.

Bug
This fly landed on a white towel and posed for the camera, have to say it was a great model. Nothing annoyed it and I could take my time setting up for the shots. Not a glamour model to some but then how do we look to them.
