Dromore Viaduct.

This viaduct is in Dromore,  County Down, Northern Ireland. It stands 74 feet and is a Victorian viaduct which once carried the GNRI railway across the Lagan river. The railway closed in 1956 and the viaduct is now disused.

Nature reclaims.

Taken from the Newry A1 Bypass, I spotted this old house a few months ago but only got round to photographing it. I hope to come back to this in a few years time to see how much nature has reclaimed it.

Quoile Bridge

Quoile bridge on the River Quoile near Downpatrick, Co.down Northern Ireland.

This is part of the nature reserve on the Quoile river, It use to be a tidal river but a sea wall across the river now keeps the river level even for most of the year.

Saint John’s Point light house

Out on the Bike this evening around the coast in County Down. This is the lighthouse at Saint John’s Point with beautiful views across to the Mourne mountains.
