Harry Ferguson’s plane
Been wet and overcast here but then that,s why Ireland’s green. This piece of art is in memory of Harry Ferguson, the first man in Ireland and the UK to build and fly his own aircraft. His maiden flight was in 1909 not far from the site of this photograph.

Here,s my little helper again. Been getting a start on a small orchard and was having a look around when I spotted my little friend eyeing up a small apple on one of the young trees. Will have to get out tomorrow and get something different.

My little helper
This Robin has got used to me working in the garden. I always keep the camera to hand and here he is a few feet away looking for a meal in the ground I had dug over.
