Dark side
Got the waders on and waded out into the lough reeds. Standing thigh deep in the reeds I took this shoot. The silhouette gives a feel of the mystery that lies under the dark waters. The what if or whats in there.

A crock of gold.
They say here in Ireland that there’s a crock of gold at the rainbows end, but I feel we have our own crock of gold when I look over my back yard. with the sound of birds and the amount of wildlife to be seen. Then a rainbow frames it for me. Gold comes in many forms and we are blessed to have a crock full of it.

Mechanical rain
One thing we get in Ireland is our fair share of rain. Was going out to put my motorcycle into the garage when I spotted a line of drips on the front mudguard/ fender. Getting a tripod and setting up in the rain I got a triple reflection of the mechanics of the bike.

Seem to be drawn to looking into rain droplets, I find the close up views give a new perspective to the small things we past over looking for the grander view to capture.

This was a rain drop on the window. using a 105mm macro’s lens and a set of extension tubes this is the view through it. Always keep an open mind, and try new things.
