Winter  in Ireland is mostly a grey and wet season with snow cover on higher ground. So today’s photo is my take on farming in Ireland in winter.

Black and White Wednesday

Has with last weeks photo this weeks follows a similar train of thought. With little detail and blur in the image. A couple of years back I read a book that looked at how a photograph does not always have to be in focus. While unpacking some boxes from storage I came across this book and decided to explore this idea. While not being an award winning image, it is fun to step outside the box or should that be my box.

Black and White Wednesday

Welcome to my first B&W Wednesday in 2019. So today we are going to use something we get a lot off in Ireland. Yes rain. Taken through the car windscreen during a heavy shower. This was shot at Lough Muckno  in Castleblayney County Monaghan.

This photo I shot a few month’s back at Salts Mill, Bradford. It was parked outside the church and just managed to get a couple of shots before it left with the wedding party.

Black and White Wednesday

Hello, this week we are off to the Mourne Mountains, well Dundrum bay to photograph the mountains. With the moving cloud cover and the brighter highlights it gives a nice distinction to the landscape.

Black & White Wednesday

This weeks photograph was taken while taking photo’s of a Little Egret. On a bridge a photographer was photographing the same bird from a different spot. So my shot this week is of the lesser spotted photographer.
